CCSF & SFPUC FY 20-21 Fiscal Year-End Notification
The City and County of San Francisco is closing its fiscal year on June 30, 2021. Since the City is using a Modified Accrual Basis and the timeframe of year-end processing is very limited, we need Suppliers’ full cooperation for accurate and complete reporting of SFPUC expenditures. The Controller’s Office has requested that we follow their fiscal year-end sequencing timeline by reserving the processing of transactions in the Financial and Procurement (PeopleSoft) System on specific dates for internal use only. In order to comply with this request, the SFPUC has established the following critical dates:
- 06/07/21 – All Task Order and Change Order workflow requests in SOLIS must be approved by SFPUC Contract/Task Managers for processing into a Purchase Order (Staff/Firm Addition Requests will not be impacted)
- 06/21 – 7/2/2021 – The City’s Financial and Procurement (PeopleSoft) System is reserved for internal year-end processing activities only
- 7/6/2021 – SFPUC staff will resume all transactions
- 7/30/2021 – Suppliers must submit charges for work performed through June 30, 2021 either as an invoice in SOLIS or as an estimate to PPU@sfwater.org. The method of estimating is required for audit purposes. Please comply with this request as otherwise your payments will be delayed.
